The final result of this illustration will be a paper craft or paper sculpture. The process for this type of art can be quite complex. For this particular piece I started with a sketch in Adobe Fresco, and then proceeded to work on all of the base shapes and colors using the vector brushes in Fresco. From there I exported all of the base shapes into illustrator (ipad and desktop, both work fine), and organized them by groups and layers. The Illustrator file will then be saved as a .svg, and imported into the cricut workspace to be cut on card stock. I will then assemble by hand. However, before I crate the paper version, I like to create a digital version to accompany it to use both as reference and as a separate piece if refined enough. To do this, I created a duplicate file and continued working in Adobe Fresco using both vector and pixel brushes.
